Jakob is on the internet!

We were recently provided a wonderful opportunity to get some pictures of Jakob done. A local photographer, Keri Blue, (who took some awesome of photos of cousin Hunter) was looking for a newborn to photograph using some of her new props. When she put out an announcement that she was looking Aunt Kaci immediately put her in touch with us; Jakob was 6 days old. We have been told some of the work may also be displayed at the local hospital too! It was a fun photo session, but quite difficult to get all the shots because getting a newborn to do just what you want them to can be difficult. In the end the photos came out great! Jakob's 2 week appointment

We had Jakob's 2 week appointment today and he is growing like a weed! When we left the hospital 2 weeks ago he had dropped from his birth weight of 7 pounds 9 ounces to 6 pounds 14 ounces. At his appointment today he was 8 pounds 8 ounces! He's mommy's little porker. He has also grown from his birth length of 19.5 inches to 21 inches. He is certainly a growing boy!

Jake is 2 weeks old!!!

We have his appointment tomorrow and are very excited to see how much he weighs. He eats constantly so we know he is gaining. We have settled in quite nicely, and Dale adores him! Daddy has to go back to work Monday which is a bummer because we LOVE having him home with us. Hope all is well with everyone!

Jakob Daniel is here!

Jakob decided not to wait until his induction Wednesday. He woke me up with contractions at 1 am Tuesday. By 5 am we were headed to the hospital. We were admitted at 6:30 am, epidural at 8:00 am, and he was born at 8:57 am. He was a perfect 7 pounds 9 ounces an 19.5 inches long. We came home Wednesday afternoon and are doing great!

The eviction notice has been served!

Jakob will be evicted Wednesday and we are VERY excited to meet our little guy! For those of you who live locally and wish to visit us at the hospital please do, AFTER Jakob arrives. Just a heads up, we have arranged for Dan and my mom to be the only people allowed in our room until after his arrival. Thank you for respecting our decision.

39 week appointment

I had my 39 week appointment today. No progression from last week, in fact, it appears as though all progression has stopped and Jakob has decided to stay for the long haul. My next appointment is Monday afternoon and if Jakob hasn't made an appearance by that time we will set an eviction date.
