Decem-brrrrrr......

We have been busy and I have been bad about posting pictures. I had an awesome baby shower on December 5th, we got our Christmas tree on the 6th and today we made a trip (a very cold trip) to the park.

Our newest addition!

We have been wanting to get a playmate for Daisy (our 8 month old chocolate lab), we just hadn't found the perfect pet. We went back and forth about what we wanted to get, another lab? A boxer? While browsing the available pets at Saving Grace pet shelter we saw an adorable 9 month old chocolate lab/boxer mix. We headed to the shelter to learn that the dog we were looking for was at an adoption event so we headed there and were able to see him. From the first second we saw him we knew we wanted him. We were told that he was great with other dogs and great with kids (loves to chase cats just like Daisy). We headed back to the shelter where we introduced Daisy to the potential new pup and they immediately became friends! We applied for adoption and a short while later we were headed home with our new pup. We have decided to name him Ruger. Below are a few pictures. They were so busy playing that picture time was very unimportant to them. Playing fetch is such a fun game!

Third trimester!

Yay! We have made it to 28 weeks and the 3rd trimester! It's all downhill from here, right? Well, uphill or downhill, there isn't much time left. We are super excited!

I went to the doctor Wednesday and we were lucky enough to get a quick ultrasound. My mom is the best and scanned it in for me so I could post it for everyone. Thanks gramma Karen! Jakob is measuring a little ahead of schedule (3 days) and is developing well. It even looks like he has some hair! ; )

We are so excited that Hunter is here! The kids have waited for so long for a new baby cousin! Dale was so excited to hold him that he actually wanted me to check him out of school early so that we could go see him ; ) Congrats to Aunt Kaci and Uncle Tommy! Another tooth bites the dust!

Dale lost another tooth tonight! He immediately dropped it and of course it blended in with our carpet ; ) No worries though, we found the tooth and the tooth fairy will come tonight.
