Our newest addition!

We have been wanting to get a playmate for Daisy (our 8 month old chocolate lab), we just hadn't found the perfect pet. We went back and forth about what we wanted to get, another lab? A boxer? While browsing the available pets at Saving Grace pet shelter we saw an adorable 9 month old chocolate lab/boxer mix. We headed to the shelter to learn that the dog we were looking for was at an adoption event so we headed there and were able to see him. From the first second we saw him we knew we wanted him. We were told that he was great with other dogs and great with kids (loves to chase cats just like Daisy). We headed back to the shelter where we introduced Daisy to the potential new pup and they immediately became friends! We applied for adoption and a short while later we were headed home with our new pup. We have decided to name him Ruger. Below are a few pictures. They were so busy playing that picture time was very unimportant to them. Playing fetch is such a fun game!
