All about the boys!

 

Dale is a growing fool! He will be finishing up 1st grade soon and we will be able to enjoy the summer! Dale is very into reading (loves his new chapter book The BFG), animals, Bakugan, and is a champ on the Wii. He is playing baseball which he really enjoys so far. He has been a tremendous help to me with Jakob; he especially loves to 'babysit' while I do chores around the house. Dale is a 'self-manager' at school, which makes me VERY proud. Being a self-manager allows him extra privileges at school such as going to recess and lunch early, escorting other students around school when necessary, helping the teacher and of course Dale's favorites.....sharpening pencils and sweeping the floor! He has such a big heart to compliment his fiery little attitude that every 7 year old should have...dont' know where he gets it ; )

Growing like a weed!  Jakob had his 2 month appointment today and is growing wonderfully!  He weighs 13.1 pounds (67th percentile) and is 23.8 inches long (63rd percentile).  He holds his head very steady, loves tummy time, is a great sleeper and is all around a happy baby.  When he is sleepy he rubs his little eyes, when he is hungry he isn't shy about letting us know and when he is happy he gives us ear to ear smiles and coos.  He loves when Dale plays with him and he likes to talk to the bee hanging from his bouncy chair.  Such a sweetheart!
